Liana Pantalone, Founder and Writer at Climbing Vine Co. shares the importance of having common values in business transactions and why sustainability and ethicality matter.
It’s an odd thing for a copywriter to blog about.
Sustainability and ethicality.
If there is something that I have learnt as my business has started to grow though, it’s that the values of the clients I work with matter.
Do you want to make the world a better place?
Having grown up with a strong sense that one day I would use my skills to help make the world a better place, I always had an interest in charities or businesses that are committed to social good.
As a young woman, perhaps naive at the time, when I first entered the workforce I really didn’t realise just how big this market really is. After working five years in a charity, writing for their cause amongst other digital marketing and communications tasks, I realised that there were so many others out there doing great things… needing a voice through compelling content.
Good news! There’s a market for sustainable and ethical products…
Take Sophia for example. Born through a passion for creativity and the environment, Sophia’s mission is to revolutionise the homewares and stationery industry by creating items that are sustainable, ethical and built to last.
Kaylah Di Placido is also a rising Facebook voice with her ‘Sustainability Saturdays’ posts offering advice to her community on how to live well and naturally.
Who you choose matters
For eco-friendly businesses and social enterprises with sustainability outcomes, it is no surprise that your key customer will strongly align with your values.
They will likely feel the same emotions you feel at the waste from mass-produced items.
Creating content regularly to stay relevant and top-of-mind is important. Someone who can write to these thoughts and feelings of your consumers really does help.
If you’re a sustainable business finding it hard to write your blogs, brochures or other content, Climbing Vine Co. would love to help. Contact us today.
